Focus on energy conservation and carbon reduction to support industry development-Furness hosted the Provincial HVAC Association Board of Directors meeting
On November 17-18, 2025, the second meeting of the fourth session of the Board of Directors (Supervisory Board) of the Guangdong HVAC Association was successfully held in Taishan, Guangdong. More than 60 people attended the meeting, including association president Cai Zehui, rotating president Zhu Xinhua, vice presidents: Huang Xinlin, Li Xiaoming, Chen Xiangyang, Yuan Ying, Ye Liangxi, Teng Yi, Lai Shuihua, vice president representatives: Chen Shuiping, Sun Yanming, Zhou Wenyuan, Wang Jinxiang, Su Linfang, Liu Haojun, Li Ming, chairman of supervisors Li Guo, supervisor representatives: Chen Ting, secretary general Liang Jianxiong, deputy secretary general Qiu Liangzhu, etc.
This meeting was hosted by Guangdong Furness Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Furness) and chaired by Zhu Xinhua, the rotating president.
At the meeting, President Cai Zehui made a work report of the board of directors, comprehensively reviewed the results of the association's work in the second half of 2025, and clarified the development direction in 2026. Focusing on the core goals of high-quality development of the industry, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and intelligent upgrading, we will advance work in multiple dimensions and reap practical results. After carefully listening to various work reports and major matters, all participating directors unanimously approved the important matters that need to be reviewed at the meeting after deliberation and a show of hands, laying a solid foundation for the association's follow-up work.
In order to thank Guangdong Furness Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. for its strong support for this meeting, Chairman Cai Zehui presented a commemorative plaque to General Manager Xue Jianbing.
On the eve of the meeting, the participating directors visited the production factory of Guangdong Furness Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. in Sijiu Town, Taishan, to gain a close understanding of the production process, technological innovation and development status of Furness insulation rubber and plastic products. Furness Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive technology company integrating scientific research, production, sales and construction. The company mainly produces rubber and plastic insulation products, rock wool products, glass wool products and other varieties, which are widely used in petroleum and petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy, polysilicon, coal chemical industry, central air conditioning, refrigerator refrigeration and other fields. During the visit, the directors actively interacted based on their own corporate business scenarios and had in-depth discussions with the Furness team around topics such as "The Adaptability of Insulation Materials in Large-scale Central Air Conditioning Projects".
After the meeting, the association held a thank-you dinner for the second meeting of the fourth director (supervisory board) meeting. At the dinner, President Cai Zehui and General Manager Xue Jianbing of Furness delivered speeches respectively. President Cai Zehui first extended his sincere greetings to all participating directors and expressed his heartfelt thanks to Furness for his careful preparation and support. He pointed out that this meeting not only systematically summarized the association's work results in the second half of 2025, but also clarified the development path for 2026. The association's work cannot be separated from the support and participation of every director. Looking forward to 2026, we hope that all directors will continue to provide suggestions and actively participate in the normalized operation of the association, the precise implementation of technical training, and the in-depth expansion of external cooperation.
Immediately afterwards, General Manager Xue Jianbing of Furness took the stage to deliver a speech and shared Furness’ original intention to delve into the field of HVAC and insulation. He mentioned that Furness' ability to host this conference was a result of the association's trust in it and the recognition of its peers. Insulation materials are a key part of energy saving and consumption reduction in HVAC systems. In the future, we hope to take this conference as an opportunity to join hands with more member companies to improve products and services, and jointly contribute to the green development of the industry.
The successful convening of the second meeting of the fourth Board of Directors (Board of Supervisors) not only clarified the development direction of the association, but also gathered synergy for industry development. From efficient and pragmatic topic deliberation, to immersive company visits, to warm and harmonious dinner exchanges and hiking activities that combine humanities and nature, the meeting established an all-round communication platform among members. In the future, the Guangdong HVAC Association will continue to focus on "serving members and serving the industry", innovating activity forms, deepening resource integration, and working with all member companies to draw a new blueprint for the high-quality development of the Guangdong HVAC industry!
